Who are we?
Ten of us were present for this week's management meeting. The topic: what do we do as a company? Excellent question. Which we took a full 45 minutes to answer. I recommend it to everybody. Thankfully we all understood the company's mission. We just debated over the most succinct way to say this to people in the outside world, in multiple languages. For the record, we settled on four words: we make television commercials (even though, strictly speaking, we don't).

A sign of economic turbulence is when a client comes to see you about giving you a very large job and starts off with the words 'i am sorry i am coming to you with this'.
Tall Story
This week i learnt that one of my work colleagues was the second tallest baby born in 1970 in Britain. What a brilliant fact. It matters little to me that her birthday is January 9th. For 37 years she has been recounting this tale with pride - i was born special.
